Foster Parent Requirements:

• Must have a special love for children

• 
  Attend Foster Parent Orientation Class

• 
  Age 25+ and atleast 10 years older than the child

• 
  Possess a valid Drivers License

• 
  Provide current automobile insurance

• 
  Provide current homeowners or renters insurance

• 
  Provide Marriage license/divorce Decree (if applicable)

• 
  Pass Drug Test

• 
  Provide Medical Exams

• 
  Provide employment and family/friend references

• 
  Provide Income Source (Employment/Benefits)

• 
  Pass Federal and State Background checks

• 
  Become CPR/First Aid Certified (attend training)

• 
  Become IMPACT Training Certified (attend training)

• 
  Participate in a Home Study Evaluation

• 
  Meet Home Safety Requirements
